Sakrisøy is a picturesque, traditional village situated in the Lofoten archipelago in arctic Norway, with a stunning backdrop of rugged mountain peaks that rise from sea-level, including the distinctive, 'sugar loaf' peak of Hammarskaftet. I have photographed here in both good- and low-visibility conditions; both have their own appeal, but I think at this location it may be the case that 'less is more'.
